Gentex Ghshl4 Homelink® Backup Camera

This listing is for a nice Gentex GHSHL4 autodim rearview mirror with Homelink® garage door opener controls & 3.3" edge-lit high definition 16:9 color LCD backup camera display! This mirror is plug & play on 2009-2013 Toyota Tacoma or 2010-2013 Toyota Tundra - either to replace the factory backup camera mirror, or to do a new installation on trucks that have the camera prewiring in place (including the 14 pin plug above the overhead console AND the connector under the back of the truck). Please note that this mirror does NOT have compass display. IMPORTANT: some 2012-2013 Toyota Tundra trucks were built with out part of the camera harness, even though the front & rear connectors are in place in the vehicle.  If you have a 2012-2013 Tundra and you are wanting to add this mirror to your truck, please contact us BEFORE purchasing so we can help you determine if your truck is one with the missing wiring or if it has the complete wiring in place. To add this to a truck that does not already have the factory camera in place, you will need to install your own factory camera or an aftermarket camera that is equivalent to the factory camera.  To replace a regular factory backup camera in these trucks...just unplug your existing mirror, plug this one in, program the Homelink® buttons and you're all set.  The display in this mirror has it's own built-in guidelines, so you will need to use a camera that does not have guidelines, or at least allows you to disable them. Also some trucks may not have the constant hot wire in place in the 14 pin plug...for this situation you will need to add the necessary constant hot wire to the plug (We can include it at no extra charge).  Before purchasing the mirror, please compare your truck's wiring harness to the last picture above to be sure yours has the constant hot wire in place in the position shown in the picture. 12 pin to 14 pin adapter harness & Homelink® programming instructions are also included.  Camera is NOT included. Mirror is meant for use with OEM Toyota 6 volt cameras. If you are using an aftermarket camera with the mirror, it's your responsibility to ensure that the camera can properly run on 6 volts. 1 year warranty on mirror. IF YOU DO NOT FOLLOW THE PROCEDURE, YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE ANY WARRANTY CONSIDERATION – NO EXCEPTIONS. No supposedly defective item may be returned WITHOUT FIRST CONTACTING THE COMPANY. If a replacement item is requested PRIOR to the return of a supposedly defective item, purchaser must pay for the replacement item including shipping and will then receive a refund for the purchase price of item only after defective item has been returned. If a replacement item is not requested prior to the return of the supposedly defective item, then the purchaser must first ship the defective item, with shipping the responsibility of the purchaser, back to the Company. After receipt of the supposedly defective item, a replacement item will be shipped to purchaser within 5 to 7 business days, with shipping the responsibility of the purchaser.
